Kushal KC, a 16 year young lad studying in grade 10 of Amrit Adarsha higher secondary school successfully tested his Solar car in Baglung last week. It is a matter of pride to all the Nepalese as the young lad is trying to get his name written in Guiness Book, as one of the youngest inventors of the world. This project took Kushal 45 days to complete and the total cost is estimated to be around Rs. 6,00,000 which was partly funded by his school and his father.

This solar car can go upto a maximum speed of 60 kmph and is powered by 20 batteries(18 amp) which is charged with 22 solar panels fixed on the roof and back of the car.

This invention is not the first time though for the little genius Kushal, he has already succesfully tested his helicopter few years back. With so many engineers complaining about unemployment and lack of research facilities Kushal stands out as an example and justifies the saying "Where there is a will, there is way".

Lets hope this is just a profound beginning for, Kushal KC , and lets remember the name, and hope to hear it many more times with many more significant inventions.
